Ronald C. Owen's Obituary
Ronald C. Owen, a resident of Tulsa, passed away March 25, 2017 at the age of 87. He was born January 6, 1930 to James Vernon Owen and Annice Lizzie (Johnson) Owen in Warner, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. On December 13, 1952, he married Marjorie Owen. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, square dancing and traveling but most of he loved spending time with his family.Survivors include his loving wife, Marjorie Owen; three daughters, Debbie Owen, Donna McSpadden and Darcy Owen; grandchildren, Justin Peer, Vollen Peer, Jessica Wilson, Jeremiah Peer, Jason Haslett, Brandon Haslett, Eric Wright and Sean Wright; great grandchildren, Layne Wright, Landon Wright, Kaidence Wright, Leanna Wright and Jacob Haslett; sisters, Nancy Rider, Gloria Lloyd, Geleda Platter and Doris Finical and numerous nieces and nephews.Viewing will be held Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at The Church of the Resurrection in Tulsa with Father Daniel Campos officiating. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow.Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army.
