Ronald "Ron" Edward Christopher's Obituary
Ronald “Ron” Edward Christopher, 69, passed from this life on February 17, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ron was born on July 18, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Pauline (Windsor) Christopher. He served in the Marine Corp. Reserves and was an Automobile Maillwright. He met and married Judith “Judy” Wise on October 23, 1965 and they shared 47 memorable years together. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife, Judy Christopher; children, Craig Christopher and wife, Julie and Stacy Christopher Crabtree and husband, Steve; four grandchildren, Kylie Christopher, Braden Crabtree, Kameron Christopher, and Kendal Christopher; sisters, Shirley Gillespie and Sharon Graham. A Memorial Service will be held 12:30 PM Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Donations can be made in Ron’s honor to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation at www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org/donate. Ron was a fun, full of life man who was always known for his witticisms. One of his favorites was his version of Abraham Lincoln’s quote “It’s Not the Years in a life, it’s the Life in the Years.’ Ron was definitely full of life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him!
