Ronald Leon Mask
April 21, 1946 – February 11, 2025
Ronald Leon Mask, 78, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on
Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Ron was born on April 21, 1946, at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, to Guy Leon Mask
and Molly Francis (Henry) Mask. He grew up in Fort Worth and attended North Side High
School before proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army as a sergeant in the 7th Corps 34th
Signal Battalion from 1964 to 1967. He continued his service in the U.S. Army Reserves until
1970.
On April 19, 1969, Ron married the love of his life, Barbara Sue (Parsons) Mask, at Rosen
Heights Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Together they built a beautiful life filled with love,
laughter, and family.
Ron dedicated 34 years of faithful employment to the United States Postal Service, where he
worked as an executive before his retirement in 2003. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing,
reading, and caring for his dogs. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family—
especially his wife, Sue, and his grandchildren. He was also known for his appreciation of a
good nap.
A man of faith, Ron was a devoted member of Community Baptist Church in Coweta,
Oklahoma, where he found fellowship and strength in his faith.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Leon Mask and Molly Francis (Henry) Mask. He
is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Sue Mask of Broken Arrow, OK; their sons Cody Mahan
Mask of Broken Arrow, OK, and Adam Noel Mask and his wife Grace of Coweta, OK;
grandchildren Jadyn McMahan, Ava Mask, Tyler Mask, and AJ Mask, all of Coweta, OK; brother
Jimmy Mask and sister Toni Morris, both of Gainesville, TX; as well as beloved nieces,
nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Saturday, March 8, at 10:30 AM at Community
Baptist Church, 28052 E. 127th St. S., Coweta, OK 74429.
Ron’s legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who
knew him. He will be deeply missed. However, we rejoice in the eternal promises along with all
those who place their faith in Christ that we will one day see him again in glory.
