Ronald Lee Miller's Obituary
Ronald Lee Miller (63), of Tulsa Oklahoma, passed into the arms of his Lord on Wednesday February 9, 2011. Known as Ron to his friends and family he was born in Salem, Ohio on September 16, 1947. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 38 years, Lorretta Lee Snyder Miller. He was the devoted father to his daughter, Christina Lee Miller-Black and her husband, Jantz Black of Midland, Michigan and his son, Nathan Lee Miller and his wife, Amy Houser Miller of Chandler, Arizona. He was a proud 'Papa' to his four grandchildren, Christopher Jantz and Maelyn Rose Miller Black of Midland, Michigan and Ethan Paul and MacKenna Kalani Miller of Chandler, Arizona. He is also survived by his mother, Theda Miller of Canton, Ohio and his siblings Jeri Miller Ott, Wayne Miller, Michael Miller, Mark Miller and Doug Miller and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence V. Miller, Jr. of Canton, Ohio. Ron graduated from Southern Nazarene University where he met his beloved wife and worked for many decades as an accountant with various companies. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict and proudly continued his service in the US Army Reserves. Ron loved spending time gardening and actively participating in his church and Augustine Christian Academy. Ron Miller invested himself in the lives of children and he was an advocate for people with special needs, especially those on the Autism Spectrum. Whether with a hammer and nails or a calculator and pencil, Ron gave his all to anyone in need. He was a devoted family man and a true servant of God.
