Ronald Anton Schuller's Obituary
Ronald Anton Schuller was born August 29, 1934 the son of Hilda Mae (Pabian) Schuller and Anton Joseph Schuller. The family lived on a farm south of Ravenna, Nebraska where Ronald completed eight grades in a one room rural school. He graduated from Ravenna High School in 1952. He worked for the Railroad 1 year before attending Kearney State College for two years.
He married Ruth Lavon Mead on April 21, 1956 in Lewis Township, Pottawattamie County, Iowa.
After serving 2 years in the US Army, he returned to college and graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Mechanical Engineering Degree in January 1961.
He was a Product Engineer in the Pump and Valve Industry and had over twenty patents related to this industry.
He thought everyone should have the same passion for Math as he had. His children and grandchildren can attest to that. Ronald was an avid reader of anything pertaining to history and he researched the ancestry of both his and Ruth's family. Volunteering was important and he spent many years at Carnegie elementary helping 1st grade students with their math.
He could relate names, places, facts and dates from all his reading and research and was privileged to share his knowledge with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, friends or anyone who politely listened.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, his Children, Cynthia Faye Schuller, Aaron Lee Schuller (Stacy) and Andrew Charles Schuller.
Grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Schuller) Henson (Andy), Robert Schuller (Mackenzie), Andrew J. Schuller (Allyson), Wesley Schuller (Brianna), William Schuller (Samantha), Matthew Schuller (Taylor) and Jacob Schuller and Step-Grandchildren: Caleb Pleasant (Melanie), Dawson Pleasant (Tiler), and Jacob Pleasant (Abby).
Great-grandchildren: Asher, Graham and Joshua Henson, Owen, Beau, Alice, Theodore, Ember, Adalynn, Oliver Schuller, and Gunnar Pleasant.
Ron is lovingly remembered by former daughters-in-law Angela Schuller Eakes and Stephanie Schuller Mekusky.
Nephews: Michael Moore (Shari) and Curtis Moore.
Sisters-in-law: Beth Dobesh (Cletis), Ellen Mead, and Susan Mead
Brothers-in-law: Lloyd Mead (Doris VanVleet), Charles Mead (Judy), and Ronald R. Mead (Teresa).
Numerous Cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Parents, Sisters Audrey Moore and Virginia Schuller, Brothers-in-law Barry Moore, Merle Mead and George Mead, Daughter -in-law Janet (Garrett) Schuller and an infant daughter Rhonda Ruth.
Visitation with family present will be on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 6pm - 8pm at Moore Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 10am at Church of the Madalene Catholic Church, 3188 E. 22nd Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74114. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Funeral Honors Team out of Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
