Ronald Edward Schwabe was born July 8, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the 2nd son of Leroy and June Schwabe. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1962 and enrolled at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma that fall. Read Obituary

My brother, Marvin, and I worked with Ronnie and Charles at Hodges Warehouse in Tulsa many years ago. Found Ronnie and Charles hard workers and always ready for fun. Even a hot boxcar could be fun with the Schwabe present. Enjoyed with visiting with them 4-6 years ago as our family was in Tulsa for Christmas. Lit a candle in memory of Ronald Schwabe
Ron and I were colleagues and friends over 25 years. We cherished our dinners together as recently as April 2017 and chatted about life in general. He came to visit me in the hospital on May 18, 2017 and spend an hour. Little that I knew that was the last meeting! He texted me on June 28th regarding the surgery and our next dinner meeting as soon he gets better. I am so sorry I could not say good bye to him.I can hear his crisp voice loud and clear even now. His smile and small talks can be nostalgic! He showed his amazing metal art works to my family when he visited us in the hospital. Indeed, Ron was a of with many talents and I know it first hand at the work place. Hard working and resolute but never hesitated to speak his mind.Now, I must wait a while for our next dinner. My family lived neighbors to the Schwabe family when I was a teenager and Ron was around 8 yrs. younger than me. We followed Ron thru his college career, his years as a minister, birth of his children, and his initial career in the trucking industry. My Mother, Bonnie Helm, had worked in that industry and Ron had worked part time for her before other events in his life and he had received a lot of help from her knowledge of same and once told her how much it had helped him. He was a pall-bearer at my Father's funeral and used to visit my Mother occasionally in the years following. She passed away in 1988, and I had not seen Ron since, although I had spoken to him by phone a few times, then lost contact. Had tried unsuccessfully to contact him through his son, but somehow, it didn't happen. Ron was such a sweet, caring person even as a very young man and we always considered him nearly like family. He will be missed by all who ever knew him I am sure, even those who haven't been blessed to contact him in many years. May God Bless his family. We loved you Ronnie! Ron and I were friends for many years. He taught me how to "punch" cattle, cut down trees, and cook hot dogs over an open fire. He was a man of many talents. His metal art work will live on for many generations to come. He will be missed.John Fisher

I mis knowing I will not see you again till I get to my fathers House. Ron & my husband, John, were best friends and Ron & I remained friends after John died in 1992. We met in the NBC class at Asbury Methodist Church in the 80's. Ron was always kind to me and had a big beautiful smile! I was heart broken when he told me he had Parkinson's Disease and now cancer. I am thankful we spoke and texted this week.I have a treasured metal nativity he made me last Christmas and I am grateful for that memento. May he Rest In Peace.Sincerely, Janie Hedrick
I had the pleasure of knowing Ronnie from the 1950s -60s. We went to church together at Sequoyah Hills Baptist Church. We also played ball together on the church team. We shared many good times over the years. He was a great guy and good friend. He will make a great addition to his Lord Jesus Christ's heaven Jim Grisham
