Ronayne Yuan Shentwu's Obituary
Ronayne Yuan Shentwu, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on June 13, 2024, at the age of 88.
Born in Nanjing, China on March 18, 1936, to Shieh-An Yuan and Chuan Wang. In 1949, she moved from Nanjing, China to Taipei, Taiwan. In Taipei, Taiwan, she met her husband Tian-I Shentwu and they were married in 1960. In 1966, they relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Ronayne lived in Tulsa for 56 years. She was a housewife and a talented seamstress. She made clothes for herself, other family members, curtains for the home as well as matching outfits for her granddaughters. She worked for Hancock Fabrics for 20 plus years bringing home fabric or patterns every time she worked! This brought her much joy! She also loved playing mahjong and singing karaoke with her friends!
Ronayne is survived by her children Sue Gee (husband Eddie) and Wells Shentwu (wife Julie), grandchildren Ashley Wong (husband Teren), Kelsey Gee, Kylie Shentwu, Kimber Shentwu, and Bo Shentwu.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 12:30. Floral Haven Funeral Home (6500 S. 129th E Avenue Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012) followed by Reception at Anthem Church (7777 S Garnett Rd, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tulsa Chinese Christian Church (1430 S. 131st E. Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74108).
