A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at Dearing Christian Church in Dearing, Kansas.
Ronnie was born in Coffeyville, KS and is survived by his beloved wife and “Queen” Alicia Widener of 21 years, parents Sue Coy and Steve Carriker, his five children; Triston Widener, Damon Coy, Billy Burris, Brandon Peyton and Keith Coy; seven precious grandchildren: Ruger, Ryker, Mason, Aubrey (soon to be), Alaynia, Ayden, Adalaya; and brother, Joe Coy.
Ronnie was well-known to the biker community; they were his family. He was a hard worker and genuine man full of stories to tell. He would do anything for anyone in need and was always the “life of the party”.
His hobbies included riding his Harley “Lizabeth”, tinkering with hot rods, spending time with his dogs, woodworking on the house, shooting guns and cooking. His fried taters are a favorite among his friends and family.
He cherished time with the grandbabies and had a passion for his career in heavy equipment operating and working on old hot rods. Ronnie always took pride in his work and was known to “live in his shop”. His shop was always open and fun for all. Every holiday there was a picture taken of a grandbaby on his Harley and his family and friends gathering in his shop. Ronnie always made sure to “get it right”, not just in the shop working, but in his family too. His Queen and family always came first.
Ronnie had a great memory and every gathering would come with stories, a smile and laughter but he always had a very kind and soft heart behind those stories.
The family appreciates all the love, prayers, and support during these times. A lot of hearts have been broken by his passing.
In leu of flowers, please send donations to Dearing Christian Church at 302 Independence Ave. Dearing, KS 67340 in loving honor and memory of Ronnie Lee Coy.
