Ronnie Dean Taylor's Obituary
Ronnie Dean Taylor, 77, of Broken Arrow, passed away October 27th in Tulsa, surrounded by 3 generations of his family. He was born September 18th, 1945 in Tulsa, to David Angus and Bettye Jeane Taylor.
Ronnie loved serving his community as evidenced by his career choices and activities. "Ron" was a retiree from the US Army Reserve, Tulsa Police Department and the City of Tulsa. A long time member of the Masons, Scottish Rite and Shriners, he rode with the Blue Knights, enjoyed Square Dancing, Rendezvous, Cowboy Action Shooting and playing his Mountain Dulcimer.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and 2 daughters. Ronnie is survived by Beverly, his wife of 48 years; 4 daughters Nina, Melina, Tere and Erin, all of Oklahoma; 1 son David, of Arkansas; as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The services to celebrate Ron's life will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, November 2nd, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, with graveside Military Honors to follow. The visitation will be held 4-7 PM, Tuesday, November 1, at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
