Rosalee Holscher's Obituary
Mrs. Rosalee Laverne Holscher, beloved and faithful matriarch, independent and savvy business woman, died on May 3, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Rosalee was born on June 22, 1931 in Hartford, Kansas to William and Pearl Irene German. She was one of eight children. She attended Beauty College in Emporia, Kansas and was the sole proprietor of Accent Hair Salon in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Even after she closed the doors to Accent Hair Salon, she continued to cut her client’s hair out of her home. She always said those ladies needed something to look forward to each week, and she wanted them to feel their best. She loved working and she loved her people.
Rosalee, was an active pillar of her community; volunteering with the Broken Arrow Police Department in their Domestic Violence Unit and teaching water aerobics at her local YMCA. She enjoyed taking long walks around her neighborhood.
Mrs. Holscher was preceded in death by her four sisters, Beulah, Isabelle, Marie and Virginia; three brothers, Ray, Hubert and Ernie; and both parents, William & Pearl Irene Germann.
Rosalee is survived by her sister Leota Simon; her daughter and son, Cyndee and Greg Holscher; her 2 grandsons and their wives, Kyle Hildreth & Amanda Christensen-Hildreth, Geoffrey & Megan Holscher; her granddaughter Kelli Hildreth and her granddaughter and her husband Tiffany & Chad Rott; and six great-grandchildren, Lily Hildreth, Delaney & Colby Christensen, Colton, Caleb and Cambre Rott.
