Rosana Camargo-Meza's Obituary
Rosana Camargo Meza, 52, natural Brazilian, died on September 4th, 2017 at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Rosana was born in São Paulo, Brazil, on September 22nd, 1964 to Mario Endsfeldz Camargo, a prominent doctor and researcher on the field of infectious diseases and Maria Rosa Braghetta Camargo (in memoriam), a Greek and Latin linguistics teacher.Rosana was the youngest of four siblings, Álvaro, Cecília, Marcelo and Renato and being so, always received special attention and was considered the jewel of the family. As a child she was always very happy, communicative and full of spark and brought a lot of joy and happiness to the whole family. She enjoyed the family gatherings and and the warm relationship with her parents and siblings during their vacations at the family beach house, which remained a constant pleasure throughout her life; she loved the sea and sea food.After graduating from high school, she graduated with honors as a nurse by the University of São Paulo and worked as a registered nurse in the Hospital das Clinicas, also in São Paulo. During that time, a close friend introduced her to Alejandro, a Mexican executive, who was sent by Mobil to work abroad. Alejandro returned to Mexico after a couple of years and Rosana, always determined and bold, went after him to get married. They got married on February 27th, 1997 and went to live in Mexico straight after.She lived in Mexico City for almost ten years. During this period, she studied Culinary Arts. Very excited with this new skill, she started a small family business of home-made breads and pastries. Gastronomy and cooking were always a passion for her and she delighted many people by doing so. Always doted with an active and entrepreneur personality, she went on to develop a second small business which brought her a lot of joy and pleasure that was jewelry manufacture and started producing necklaces and bracelets, which became very popular between friends and acquaintance.Back to Brazil in 2005, she went on to get a second Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition by the São Camilo University, located in São Paulo. She fully enjoyed this period as she was close to her parents and family.In 2013, Alejandro received a proposal to work abroad by Noria Corporation, and the family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Soon after this, Rosana was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She got operated immediately and was submitted to a tough chemotherapy treatment.Rosana was elegant and dressed conventionally but always with good taste. She was very intense, full of life, zealous about her family, worried about social matters.Firmly positioned in her faith in Jesus, she looked for God with all her heart. She was an active member of the church throughout her whole life and always showed some of the gifts of the Spirit such as faith, prophecy, speaking in tongues, discerning of spirits and word of wisdom. Her biggest legacy is to leave an example of a path of faith and integrity.She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Alejandro, their three children, Pedro, Sofia and Isabel, her daughter-in-law Larissa and her grand-daughter Kora.Condolences and donations may be sent to her home at:3705 West Iola StreetBroken Arrow, OK 74012
