I remember visiting Rosemary, Dave, and the kids when I was about seven (47ish years ago). As soon as we got there, Rosemary offered me an ice cream cone. Later, she gave us chocolate chip cookies, in the kitchen. When I brought some back, to the kitchen, she said, "Looks like your eyes are bigger than your stomach." That was the first time I had heard that expression. She was always very kind. I imagine there were other things besides desserts, during our visit, but that's what I remember. When my daughter and I visited Rosemary and Dave a couple of years ago, Rosemary was very kind to Morgan, making sure she wasn't bored with "the old people."
