Rosemary "Mary" Spradley's Obituary
Rosemary Madeline “Mary” Spradley, passed away on July 26, 2024, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, at the age of 98 after a long, heart-breaking battle with progressive dementia. She died peacefully, loved by family. She was born on May 31, 1926, in Champaign, Illinois, to the late John Palmisano and Augusta Gentile. Mary was the heart of her home and family. She raised four children to become thoughtful and independent adults. Mary was married for 72 years to her soulmate, Bill, who preceded her in death. Mary was a vibrant soul who lived life to the fullest. She had a zest for adventure and was always ready for a road trip, whether it was to the local market or across the country. Mary had a passion for bowling, bingo, bunco, and visiting the casino with her husband, Bill, and later her son, Mike.
She cherished the time spent traveling and exploring new places. Mary’s competitive spirit shone through her love for playing cards and games, always bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Known for her feisty and spirited nature, Mary touched the lives of many with her infectious energy and warm, giving heart. Her love for her family and friends was unwavering, and she found great joy in spending time with her loved ones. Mary Spradley will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories she shared with us all.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband Bill.
Mary is survived by her four children; Kay (Phil) Tyree, Debbi (Morris) Brandt, Patti (Dennis) White, and Mike Spradley. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Harrison (William Josiger) Tyree, Erin (Courtney) Christenson, Brent (Lori) Brandt, Michelle (Chris) Livesay, Joey Brandt, Jessica (Rob) Leaned, Zach (Teresa) Omote, Amber (Josh) Ott, Rheanne (Aaron) Renzenbrink; and 11 great grandchildren: Will and Emily Josiger; Callie Christenson; Collin and Lydia Brandt; Breckyn, Brandt, Sydney, and Owen Livesay; Keanu Omote; and Keira Ott, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. All of these she loved and touched deeply. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 13th, 2024 from 5-6 PM, followed by a rosary from 6-7 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
