Rosetta "Judy" Jane Pell's Obituary
Rosetta "Judy" Jane Pell, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed peacefully from this life on August 30, 2025, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 81.
Born on October 14, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Judy was the cherished daughter of Carl Edward and Madge Eline (Marshell) Phelps. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family, and carried that spirit of warmth and connection throughout her life.
Judy found joy in the simple pleasures—tending to her garden, spending time at the lake, and camping under the stars. But above all, her heart belonged to her family. Her home was a haven of laughter, love, and stories passed down through generations.
She is survived by her devoted children: Karla Powell (Steve Watkins), Keith Pell (Wanda), Kerry Pell (Christie), and KerPatrick Pell (LeAnn); 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry her memory forward with love.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Jarrell Pell; parents, Carl and Madge Phelps; her son, Kenneth Pell; three sisters; and four brothers. Though she has joined them in rest, her legacy continues in the lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A celebration of Judy’s life will take place at 12:30 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
Judy’s life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and the enduring power of family. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
