Roy Huff Acrea's Obituary
Roy H. Acrea Jr. AKA, 'Bill', went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 7, 2013 in Bedford, Texas. He is survived by his son Roy L. Acrea, his wife, Treese, three Grandaughters, and nine Great Grandchildren. He was born in Okmulgee, OK July 22, 1917 to Roy H. Acrea Sr. and Mary (Salisbury) Acrea. He was married to Dora Marie Ollie, April 25, 1942 in San Diego, CA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was also a veteran of the Pearl Harbor Attack on December 7, 1941 and received the 50th Year Commemorative Medal in 1991. He retired in 1980 from American Airlines in Tulsa, OK after 25 years as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. He has lived in Bedford, TX for 14 years at Parkwood Retirement/Health Care Community. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Dora'Sheenie' Marie Acrea Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, May 13th, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, Ok. Funeral Service will be at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, OK. Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
