I wouldn’t say i was the favorite, as all of us kids could say we were the favorite. it breaks my heart hearing of his passing, but even more regret knowing that as i grew up my family didn’t keep in touch like we should of. I was definitely taken in as a grandchild, from going to the craft shows in the spring & fall with them, to going with them on friday nights to play at the Hickory House, or just running errands and to mcdonald’s to get out of the house with Bubby. I will never forget this man, as he will always be a huge part of my life. sending all my love to the family.

I will always remember listen to buddy play the guitar an just setting down an visiting with buddy an Judy and helping them when needed and he would always ask me when I was leaving if I had plenty of food at home buddy was kind loveing neighbor that would help out a friend you will be missed my friend .

My memories of Buddy go back to the mid 60's when he would bring the race car to our house for Dad and him to work on.....they remained friends and worked together until my fathers death. I have nothing but fond memories of him, I know what a great loss it is to the entire family and circle of friends. He will be missed by many .

Bubby “Roy” was one of the greatest men I knew. He treated all of us kids like we were his own kids. He was the grandpa I always wanted. He always shared his chocolate covered cherries and taco bueno with me lol. I will miss him so much. My heart aches knowing he is gone.
