Roy Leon Day's Obituary
Roy Leon Day, 75, Tulsa, passed away August 21, 2021 in Tulsa. Born August 30, 1945 in Aurora, Nebraska to Joseph B and Louise Day.
Roy enjoyed numerous hobbies and activities, including archery, fishing and making his own fishing flies. He painted professionally and for his own enjoyment. He played musical instruments, including the violin, guitar, steel guitar, and briefly the harp. He was also an amateur radio enthusiast.
Roy enlisted into the Navy (Sea Bees) in 1968.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents Joseph B and Louise Day. Roy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ida; son Sean Day of California; son Joshua Day of Tulsa; daughter Betsy Day of Sapulpa; 7 grandchildren; sister Betty Sullivan of Jenks; half-brother Joseph Day; and numerous nieces and nephews.
