Roy Emmanuel Logsdon's Obituary
Roy Emmanuel Logsdon, 89, of Collinsville, OK went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 8, 1932 in McAlester to Jesse Bloomfield Logsdon and Beulah Gladys Watts Logsdon. He met the love of his life Georgia Bond and recently celebrated 64 years of marriage.
He was retired from being self-employed, having owned several service stations over his career.
Roy enjoyed most, spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His family was his entire world. He was loving, compassionate, and giving; and was always willing to help in any way that he could.
He is survived by his loving wife Georgia Logsdon of the home; children Kevin Logsdon and wife Donna, Rhonda Thornton and husband Robert; grandchildren Sandi House and husband Steve, Rachelle Thornton, Robin Wanless and husband Kyle, Crissy Carter and husband Matthew, and Matthew Logsdon and wife Nikki; 13 great grandchildren; and siblings Jimmy Logsdon, Harold Logsdon, Eugene Logsdon, Edith Moffis, Wayne Logsdon, and Gloria Lucas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Bernice Clark and Jess Logsdon, Jr; and grandson John Logsdon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3 from 2 pm - 5 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will take place at 3 pm on Monday, October 4 at the Floral Haven Chapel.
