Ruben Valerio's Obituary
Ruben was born October 13, 1935 in Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico to Juan Pablo Valerio and Rose Torres Valerio. He passed away August 17, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He enjoyed 34 years as a supervisor over the tool and dye division of Northrop Grumann Corp.. He served in the United States Army as a engineer building bridges in Northern Europe. He was also a expert rifle marksman and also honored with the Good Conduct Medal. A faithful member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his wife , Jacqueline Lillian Valerio, also mother and father: Rose and Juan Valerio, brothers: Salamon and Jose (Joe) Valerio. Also sister: Teddy Garcia . Survived by : Daughter, Terri Damron and husband William, grandchildren: Christina Rose and Jacqueline Aileen Damron, also surviving Charles Arthur Wells Jr., and wife Janice , Preston Wells Jr., Sisters: Gloria Sanchez, Quarina DesGeorges, numerous nieces and nephews , brothers and sister in laws who live in New Mexico , Texas and North Carolina. Contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
