Ruby Georgia Boyce's Obituary
Ruby Georgia (Wade) Boyce our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend to many, left this world on September 22nd for a better one in God’s Kingdom with Jesus Christ. She was born October 14th, 1911 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Robert George and Carrie (Sharp) Wade. She spent her childhood in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma where she met and married Oral Reese Boyce on March 29, 1928. Ruby’s life was a beautiful example of faithfulness and unconditional selfless love always taking care of other’s needs before her own. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa. We all will miss her greatly but we are rejoicing in the knowledge that she is now finally home. A Funeral service honoring her life will be held 12:30 PM Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.Survived By: She is survived by daughter, Norma Boyce Jackson, daughter, Joann (Jodie) Boyce Foley and husband, MJ Foley, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Helen Weaver and many friends who loved here dearly.
