Ruby Dean Fell's Obituary
Ruby Dean Fell was born on August 24, 1938 in Warner, Oklahoma, the daughter of Sherman and Bessie Dillon. She peacefully passed this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at her home in Broken Arrow surrounded by her family. She was 85 years of age.
Ruby was married to the love of her life, Bill for almost 70 years. Together they built a wonderful life with their four children. She passionately loved her grandchildren. She rarely missed an awards assembly, graduation or sporting event. Always being their biggest cheerleader in life.
Ruby was an avid bowler, she started bowling with the PTA league almost 50 years ago and continued until recently. She also spent many years volunteering with PTA. She also loved to read, crochet and sew. In her younger years she was a Candy Striper at Muskogee Hospital and worked at Purina Dog Food.
She will be deeply and forever missed. She is survived by her husband Bill; her son Jimmy Fell and Anita of Bella Vista, AR; son Charles Fell and his wife Pam of Broken Arrow; her daughter Debbie Vaughn and her husband Russell of Broken Arrow. Her grandchildren Summer White of Tulsa, Greg Fell of Coweta, Tabitha and Brianna Fell of San Diego, Dillon and Kayla Vaughn of Broken Arrow, Devin Stanley of Fayetteville AR, David Winters of Glenpool and Megan Richardson of Tulsa and many great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Sherman and Bessie Dillon, Brothers Homer, Lloyd and Glen Dillon and son Jeff Fell.
A private family graveside service will be held at Floral Haven Cemetery on Tuesday January 30, 2024.
