Russell Andrew Slagle's Obituary
Russell Andrew Slagle, 53 of Broken Arrow went to be with our Lord on December 2, 2015. Russell was a kind-hearted man that would give his last dollar or the shirt off of his back if it meant another person would not have to go with out and/or allow a stranger to sleep on his living room sofa and he did. Russell was a hard working man that did all he could for his family. He enjoyed growing vegetables, working as a heavy equipment operator, cooking specialty meats or foods for his family and showering his grandchildren with lots of love. Russell joined his father Robert (Bob) Slagle in heaven and is survived by his mother Roberta (Bobbie) Slagle and his three older brothers Robert Jr., Randy, his wife Amy, and Rod Slagle. He was a loving father to his only son Rusty Lee & Dora, and a loving father to his step-children that he raised as his own Justin, Bryon and Kayla, and a loving attentive grandfather to his 9 grandchildren Kaylee (17), Bobbie (14), Luke (15), Drake (7), Madilyn (6), Jaxson (3), Stormy (3), Autumn (2), and Rusty (6mos). We will forever carry your memory in our hearts. Services will be held at the Rock House Church in Catoosa on December 12, Saturday at 2 pm.
