Ruth Irene Abbott's Obituary
Ruth Irene Abbott passed away on November 6, 2012. She was born on March 15, 1920 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to her parents Joe and Vera Ferrell. She attended her early schooling years in Broken Arrow before escalating her studies to Draughohr Business University of Tulsa, Oklahoma where she earned her bachelor's degree. After she had graduated, she began her career as bookkeeper at American Freightways; she spent 40 years with them before retiring in 1980. Ruth's life wasn't all business though, she spent the majority of her life praising her lord and savior as well as loving her family. In June 6, 1949 Ruth married the love of her life, H.B. Bill Abbott and together they lived a life of traveling, love, and the praise of her lord. She was a very happy and energetic woman with a kind and generous heart that spread her happiness wherever she went. Ruth has now gone to be with her husband in everlasting life; she will be deeply missed by friends and family. Ruth is survived by her granddaughter, Jana Elliot and her husband, Kevin Elliot, grandson, Wayne Judd and wife, Corina Judd, granddaughter, Kelly Judd, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and 5 cousins, Dorothy Ferrell, Ann Carlton, Lucille Cole, Kenneth Ferrell, and Deborah Ferrell.
