Ruth Bruner (Brust), 70 years old, of Tulsa, Ok, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2017 in Tulsa, Ok at St. Johns Medical Center.Memorial service was held on November 20, 2017 at Contact Mission Church of Christ in Tulsa, OkRuth Bruner (Brust) was born in Arkansas on June 19, 1947 to Frank and Marry Brust. She graduated from Daniel Webster High school in Tulsa, Ok. She married Bert Sharp and they were blessed with three children. She received a cosmetology license in 1968 from Admiral Beauty College in Tulsa, Ok. Ruth worked in many customer service positions. She lovingly raised three children Kenneth Sharp, Tonya Baugh, and Leslie Sharp. Ruth was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.Ruth enjoyed going to church and praising the Lord. She also enjoyed shopping and acquiring all types of things. She would never allow anyone to leave her house empty handed. Ruth lived her life to be a blessing to anyone the Lord brought her way. She was very loving and had the kindest heart. Ruth enjoyed helping her family and friends any way she could every chance she got. Ruth also had a passion for music.Ruth Bruner was proceeded in death by her parents, Frank Raymond Brust and Mary Leslie Morris (Faulkner), sister Mary Randell, sister Faith Cummings, brother Frank, and granddaughter baby Genna.Ruth is survived by her sisters Susan and Frankie, children Kenneth Sharp, Tonya Baugh, and Leslie Sharp. Grandchildren Elizabeth Sharp, Susan Wilson, Catherine Geissler (Imel), Brittany Clayton, Kayla Sharp, Tabitha Sharp, Heather Baugh, Samuel Baugh, and 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind brother in laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, many close friends, church family, and her beloved kitty cat Boots.
