Davis, Ruth (Guthrie), 68, passed away Sunday, July 25th from pulmonary fibrosis. She grew up in Big Cabin, OK. And graduated from NSU in June of 1963. Ruth taught school in California and Tulsa Public Schools from 1963 to 1968. Read Obituary

I attended Big Cabin School with Ruth. She was alway a lot of fun to be with. Big Cabin School was one large family, and everyone had a great concern for each other. Ruth will be greatly missed by all.
Jim, I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't get to know Ruth but I always heard great things about her. I do know you were as close to "the perfect couple" as anyone could hope for. I am glad you will have those wonderful memories. May God bless you and your family. My prayers are with you.

Mrs. Davis was my shorthand teacher many years ago. She made such an impact on my life with her beautiful and gentle spirit. I have always remembered her as one of my very favorite teachers. May God bless you at this time.
