Ruth Marie Mashburn's Obituary
Ruth Marie Mashburn, was born in Tulsa Ok. on December 7, 1923, to Mable and Walter Raper. She passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 97. A graduate of the first class of Will Rogers High School in 1941, she and Gerald were married January 3, 1945, and they celebrated 61 years together. She was a secretary most of her life, but loved to sew, craft and travel, including numerous mission trips in Mexico and Honduras. She was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist church in Tulsa. Marie was preceded in death by Gerald in 2006 and her brothers, Gene and Lloyd. She is survived by her four children, Clair (Lin), Phyllis, Jerry, and Sandra (Patrick).
She is survived by her grandkids Sherry (Ernesto), Carie (Tom), Brandon (Paula), Lori and Kristi. Great Grandkids Brandon, Emily, Andrew, Addison, Gabriela, Ernesto Jr., Elijah and Ali and Great Granddaughter Ruby.
Funeral will be held at Floral Haven Chapel on August 20, 2021, at 10:00 with interment to follow.
She will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at 10 am on Friday, August 20, at the Floral Haven Chapel.
