Ruth “Ruthie” Pettit, 87, resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away December 28, 2019. Ruthie was born May 6, 1932 in Herron, South Dakota to Glen and Alma Buser. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.Ruthie was preceded in passing by her parents, Glen and Alma Buser; her husband, Art Branaman and her grandson, Michael Toney. She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Pettit; daughter, Pam Bigger (Casey); daugther, Glenda Toney (Charlie); son, Richard Branaman; grandchildren, Cindy Kincaid, Sandra Campbell (Jamie), Kerri Bigger, Alicia Clooney (Brett); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Andrew, Ashley, Sarah, Brandon, Austin, Logan, Thomas, Jaden, Kaylee, Payton, Hailey, Hayden; brother, Art Buser and numerous other family members and friends.Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Tulsa.
