Ruth Frances Twist's Obituary
Ruth Francies Twist, 97, passed away on January 11, 2011 in St. John’s Hospital. She was born November 24, 1913 in Stillwater, OK to Benjamin Franklin Lawhorn and Harriet (Hattie May) Sollers Lawhorn. Ruth attended Park Elementary; was in the first class of Clinton Jr. High; she attended Central High. Ruth married Kuroki (Kue) Twist March 12, 1933 in Claremore, OK. She is survived by children, William D. Twist and wife,Shirley, Kay Twist, Fern Mundy, Linda Twist; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by son, Tony; daughter, Sharon Lee; grandson, David; brother, Wilfred; four sisters; Velma, Bernadine, Anna and Dorothy..Ruth retired from the University of Tulsa as head cashier. Ruth was a devoted, loving sweetest mama in the world and was all a mother should be. She will be forever missed.
