In Loving Memory of Ruth Marie Welsh
April 8, 1939 – June 14, 2026
It is with love and gratitude for her life that we announce the passing of Ruth Marie Welsh, age 87, of Owasso, Oklahoma. Ruth passed peacefully at home on June 14, 2026, surrounded by the warmth of her family’s love.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, to Charles Alexander Alley and Margaret Carlyle, Ruth’s life was a beautiful journey that took her across Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Washington, Arkansas, and finally Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Jack Welsh, and together they built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and shared adventures.
Ruth worked as an Executive Secretary for Deck Oil Co., where her dedication, professionalism, and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Outside of work, she found joy in gardening, fishing, cooking, and dancing, passions that reflected her vibrant spirit and love for life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret, and her beloved husband, Jack. She is survived by her children Cheryl Feken, Dan Harris, and Crystal Asbury; her grandchildren Shelby Doering, Nathan Harris, Sarah Feken, Joshua Abel, Isaiah Feken, Evan Asbury, and Elizabeth Briggs; and her great-grandchildren August, Alden, Daisy, Genny, Annabelle, Lochlann, Avery, and Aiden. Each of them carries a piece of her love and legacy forward.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Care Hospice and their compassionate team for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA in honor of Max, Ruth’s beloved dog, and faithful companion.
We will carry your love in our hearts every day, Ruth — your laughter, kindness, and grace will forever be a part of us.
