Ryan John Boudreau's Obituary
Ryan John Boudreau, born September 21, 1979 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, went to be with the Lord in Broken Arrow, OK on May 28, 2017. He is survived by his wife Emily, son Preston, stepson Connor; mother Joylene, father Greg (Estela), brothers Curtis, and Trevor (Jodie; nieces Olivia & Isabelle), and step-siblings in the Britt & Rodriguez families in California, Michigan and New Jersey. Ryan proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a 1345 (Heavy Equipment Operator) from 2003 to 2012 where he achieved the rank of Seargent. He was posted in Yuma AZ, Okinawa Japan, and Camp Pendelton, CA. with deployments to Iraq and Korea. During his service he was awarded the Marine Good Conduct Medal x3, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon x2, the Iraqi Campaign Medal (with 1 star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal. Ryan also received eight Letters of Appreciation, three Certificates of Appreciation and a Certificate of Commendation. Following his Medical Separation he served as a Relocation Counselor with Marine Corps Family Services at Camp Pendelton. Ryan was an avid fan of hockey, particularly the Montreal Canadiens, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. He was a talented craftsman and loved working with his hands and inventing. He was a talented artist who created beautiful paintings. He loved the outdoors; hunting and fishing. He deeply loved his family and this love was shared by his wife, sons, brothers, nieces, cousins and large extended family of aunts and uncles. Ryan was blessed to have a third family of the Marine Corps. His brothers in arms were a vital part of his life and Ryan’s surviving family deeply appreciate the love and support the USMC has shown. Funeral Services will be held in Broken Arrow, OK on June 3, 2017. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in his memory be made to Operation Home Front.
