Ms. Goodman was an awesome lady. She believed in me when no one else did. She was like a mom to me at times. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Matt and the rest of the family.
Sad to see a fine educator and all around great individual. Sorry Matt for your loss. She was good to all she came in contact with.
Warmest of memories in her class. There were very few classes I looked forward to, but Mrs. Goodman definitely got through to me. Great job and God bless.
Patti & Mika,I'm recalling some very early memories of wonderful times on North Garfield when we were oh-so-young. I love seeing all these wonderful comments about Sally as a teacher. She must have been very good at what she did. Patti, I'm so glad to have connected with you again. Sending lots of love to you both and will be thinking of you.Beverly Montgomery Dunaway
My condolences to all those in Sally's family, especially Matt. I worked with her at Rogers High School and will always remember her for her deep love for her students and their education, her quick wit and intelligence, and her devotion to her son.Peggy Wolfe
Mrs. Goodman was a great English teacher. I had her and with her help she helped me get through high school. I had to chance to tell her before I graduated that she meant the world to me and I thanked her for all of her help. She smiled and said well, I enjoyed teaching you and it was my pleasure. My English isn't perfect but thanks to her, she made a huge difference in my life.
Mrs. Goodman was my favorite teacher at Rogers. I loved her enthusiasm for classics which I still enjoy reading due to her. I also enjoyed how she liked mentioning that one of her friends was the real Wonder Woman, Linda Carter.
My heart is hurting so much for her family. She was my favorite teacher of all time. Loved her dearly. I've cried so much today at the news of her passing. God Bless.
Mrs Goodman was the best teacher hands down I encountered through all my school years. I know for sure she made it to heaven.
