Sam North's Obituary
Samuel (Sam) Noah North passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. Sam was born to his mother, Leslie Kelseaux North, and father, Kenneth Wayne North, on June 6, 1997, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was raised and nurtured by his mother, father, and bonus mother, Cecily North. Sam grew up in Tulsa, attending Union Public Schools. He later relocated to Viera, Florida, where he graduated from Viera High School in 2016. After graduation, he returned to Tulsa to be close to his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents, his mother, father, and bonus mother; supportive siblings, Hollie Gray and husband, Matt, Heidi Winterberg and husband, Chase, Landon North, Alex Land, and Jessi Land; cherishing grandparents, Peggy North, Steve and Larna Van Horn; and adoring nephews and nieces, Ayden Winterberg, Adelyn Winterberg, Ezekiel Gray, and Ezrie Gray.
Sam was a fun, kind, and loving young man adored by so many. Sam enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. He rarely met a stranger, and, if he did, they weren’t a stranger for long. His warm personality and contagious smile made it easy for anyone to become a friend. He was adventurous and even a little ornery. Sam’s resilient sense of humor always lifted moods even in the toughest times. Sam will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16 from 4 pm - 8 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sam's honor to the education, support and resources for families in crisis with substance abuse issues:
