Sam and I shared approximately 7 years while living in Phoenix/Apache Jct, Az. Those were good years. He was a Probation Officer in Pinal County and worked as a Reserve Deputy for the Pinal County Sheriff's Dept. He was tough, but fair. He would try to help them as best he could. We spent our free time camping, hiking and exploring The Rim, in Northern Az. Sam loved a good campfire!! But, always made sure it was 'dead out' before we left, his Scout training taught him that. Samuel was a good man with a good heart. He was generous with friends and family. He had a warm smile and a great laugh. He had a strong hug for those he cared about. He could be gentle, but he could be a Tiger, if angered. Sam was smart, resourceful, strong and motivated. However, above all else, he LOVED his daughter's and grandchildren. He was very PROUD of them all. Sam will be missed. RIP Samuel, we love you and pray for you.
