Samantha Mcdorr
Dr. Barrett was my Grandad. It has been almost eight years since he went to be with his beautiful bride, my Grandmother, Marjorie. I still miss him enormously. In unison with my cousin Max Malcolm, Grandad was larger than life. He never did anything small. It was "go big, or go home." Nothing was too good regarding the many family reunions he organized. He would bring us from all over the country for special get-togethers. Family was incredibly important to him. He did his best to instill this value, as well as unconditional love, in his children. These ideals have been passed on to his grandkids and now his great-grandkids.
I will forever have fond memories of the Watonga Cheese Factory, visiting Braum's for a burger and some chocolate almond ice cream, Sooner's games, visiting the dental office, and so much more.
I could not be more proud to be Dr. S.M. Barrett's granddaughter, and I will love and miss him always.
Love you, Greatdad. Kiss Grandmother for us.
