Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and the family. I served with Sam in the Air Force in Alaska in 1952 through 1954. For the past 35 years, he has kept the Alaska Veterans together and planned reunions for us. He published a news letter every Christmas to keep us up to date with each other.
