Samuel D. Cartwright's Obituary
Samuel “Sam” David Cartwright, a resident of Jenks, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the age of 55. He was born December 23, 1961 to Dixon Cartwright and Helen (Nelson) Cartwright in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. Sam enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, collecting guns and listening to classic rock music but most of all his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Dixon and Helen Cartwright; twin sons, John Nelson and William Cole Cartwright and niece, Candice Lingle.Survivors include his two daughters, Megan Leigh Leverich and Hannah Marie Ritter and husband, Richard and their mother, Anita Cartwright; three grandchildren, Gentry Marie and Christopher Noah Leverich and Rylee Sloane Ritter; four brothers, Dixon Cartwright, Jr. and wife, Linda, Gary Cartwright and wife, Marsha, Wayne Cartwright and wife, Brenda and Otis Cartwright and wife, LaDonna; three sisters, Pat Dobson and husband, Joe, Elaine Horne and husband, Mike and Mary Lingle and numerous other relatives.Memorial Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow.
