Sandra Lynn Elliott, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 14, 2023, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 2, 1958, in Martinsburg, Ohio, to the late George and Mildred Martin.
Sandra is survived by her devoted children, Staci and her husband Tim Norris, and Taylor and his wife Lauren E. Her love and presence will also be deeply missed by her cherished sister, Gabrielle Thurman, and her brother, Charles Martin. Sandra leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends who were touched by her warm and caring spirit.
Sandra is now reunited with her beloved husband of 44 years, Michael Elliott, who predeceased her. She is also joined in eternal peace with her daughter, Andrea Elliott, her sister, Margarette Lee Bowers, and her brother, George Martin. Their spirits will forever remain intertwined in the tapestry of their shared memories.
Sandra was a woman of many passions. She had a green thumb and found solace in gardening. She was renowned for her culinary skills, and her loved ones cherished the delicious meals she prepared. Sandra enjoyed the simple pleasure of taking random drives, but her heart truly danced at the annual Porter Peach Festival. She had an ear for the blues and held a special place in her heart for the music of Sting. A fervent supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Sandra was a dedicated fan who cheered for her favorite team with unwavering enthusiasm. She also loved attending concerts, and the joy she experienced in the music was infectious.
In honor of Sandra's memory, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Sandra Lynn Elliott's warmth, kindness, and love will be forever missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her. May her spirit find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire and bring joy to all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
