We have known each other since the 7th grade and what a joy and a good friend you have been.
The last time we saw each other was 1962 at Seattle Worlds Fair and we went up in the Space Needle.
I joined the USAF after that and lost contact which was my fault and now I am forever regretting having lost that friendship and I hope you can forgive me. I can only hope that we will see each other again.

To me she was the most wonderful mother that ever lived and I’m really really going to miss her. When I was really really sick and in the hospital she flew out to see me here in Raleigh NC and while she was here she gave me a parrot doll that she found in the hospital gift shop that sings (Don't Worry Be Happy) and she thought it was the neatest thing. I uploaded a video of it doing its thing to the Memories album and I will cherish that parent doll for the rest of my life.

My grandmother Tess (Sandi's Mom) told me this fun story recently:

When Mom graduated high school she was invited to a large graduation party she badly wanted to attend. Her Mother, Tess, called the host to ask if there would be alcohol at this party. She was informed that there would be and did not like the idea of Mom going to a party where alcohol would be served. Mom convinced and promised she wouldn't drink (she didn't drink anyway) and so was allowed to attend the party with her boyfriend.

When they returned from the party, they pulled up to the house, started honking the horn and when Tess came outside, they both stumbled out of the car, barely able to walk. Tess, very upset started yelling at her when they both stood up, started laughing and walked inside the house, sober as judge! LOL
