Sandra King's Obituary
Sandra Kay King
August 16, 1949 – December 9, 2025
Sandra (Sandy) King was born on August 16, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the third of five children born to Ed and Betty Hicks of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up on historic Route 66 in Red Fork. She graduated from Daniel Webster High School in 1968. After graduation, she married Larry Arthur, and they had a beautiful daughter, Keli Renee Miller (Arthur).
She subsequently obtained her Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering License to practice her chosen profession, cosmetology and hairstyling. She successfully pursued this career most of her adult life, owning and operating several hairstyling salons in downtown Tulsa, developing a loyal following of devoted customers.
Sandy had a keen interest in everything relating to fashion, design, and current styles. She had a talent for art, floral arrangements, sewing, and many other creative pursuits. She dearly loved her mom and dad, her four siblings, her daughter, granddaughters, and great grandson.
Unfortunately, in her later life, health concerns thwarted her ability to fully enjoy her family and other activities that she so much enjoyed.
