Sandra Lavina Reedy's Obituary
Sandra Eidson Reedy was born in Maud, Oklahoma to Robert L. and Eva Eidson. She was one of 10 children. She was married to Herman L. Reedy for 55 years. Their love for each other was reflected in the many cards and love letters they exchanged throughout their many years together. They enjoyed traveling all over the U.S. and Canada. Sandy’s first full-time job was at Hillcrest Medical Center in the Business Office. Then she worked for many years as the administrator for Cancer Care Associates. She helped the practice grow from a small office to many offices throughout the state of Oklahoma. After she retired, she worked as a consultant. Sandy loved working and was proud of her accomplishments. Sandy enjoyed children and animals. She always took her dog, Lady, on long walks in her Jenks neighborhood. She loved children and children loved her. She always kept treats around in case a child came by to visit’ When we were growing up, she was the Mom that all of our friends loved. Mam loved to garden and hers was always very beautiful. To know Sandy was to love her. She was always positive, kind, and willing to help others. She wanted to make the world a positive place where no one was judged by others. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and taught Sunday school to 2 year olds for a couple of years. Sandy is survived by her son, John Reedy, and his wife Coby, her daughter, Jolene Durham, and her husband, Jim, her granddaughter, Jennifer and her great grandson, Liam. She is also survived by her sisters Rubia Adwon & her husband Ted, Faye Spradling & her husband Gary, Donna Henry, her brother Lanny Eidson, and many nieces and nephews.
