Sandra "Sandy" Wise's Obituary
Sandra “Sandy” Wise, 50 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, May 13, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born March 6, 1969 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her mother, Jennifer Kathleen Ford Emerson and Virgil “Gary” Lewis and was later adopted by her father Jerold Keith Emerson.Sandy was raised in Broken Arrow where she grew up with her two best friends Tammy Hayes and John Nuendorf. She graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1987. She had four children, each born three years apart between the years of 1988-1997. She went on to peruse a major in English and received an Associate’s degree in Fine Arts in 2000 from Tulsa Community College. She enjoyed working in the moving business as a Packer for Divine Packing. Sandy attended Living Truth Church with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading romance novels and crocheting blankets and other accessories for her loved ones. If anyone knew Sandy, they knew her love for Dr.Pepper, as she always had a glass in her hand, no matter the time of day. Sandy was a natural caregiver and was happy to take in anyone in need. She had many children in and out of her home that she loved and cared for through out the years. We will forever love and miss our Momma, Mimi, and Aunt Sandy.Sandy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Scott Wise of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two daughters, Whitney Baccus and her husband, Donald of Muskogee and Brianna Brogdon and her husband Robert of Broken Arrow; two sons, Shawn Papish of Tulsa and Kendall Wise of Broken Arrow; one brother, David Emerson, Broken Arrow; one sisters, Gina Barnett and her husband Mark of Broken Arrow; six grandsons, Dayton Baccus, Xavier Chelf, Sawyer Brogdon, Robert, Zander, and Matthew Taylor; her grandparents, Nora and Louis Bruere, of Broken Arrow; her father, Jerold Emerson of Broken Arrow; and birth father, Virgil “Gary” Lewis of Duncan; two nephews Devan and Dylan Emerson; and one niece Jerrica Emerson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennifer Emerson, one daughter, Alica Emerson, and one nephew, Jared Emerson.Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Lacey officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
