Sarah Marie Eppler Taylor's Obituary
November 11, 1927 to July 24, 2008 Sarah (Sally) Marie Eppler Taylor, born November 11, 1927 to Homer H. and Lucille A. Eppler in their home on 4th street in Tulsa, Ok. died Thursday, July 24, 2008 after complications from an aortic tear. Known to everyone as Sally, she, along with her sister Betty Louise, attended Holy Family Catholic School, Marquette and Will Rogers High School, graduating in 1945. She continued to keep in close contact with her classmates by holding the office of Class Treasurer for many of their class reunions. She was the switchboard operator at Flint Steel in Tulsa for a little over 15 years. When her children were grown and gone from the house, she pursued such leisurely hobbies as painting, ceramics, playing Bingo and tending to her fish aquariums. In her later years, she enjoyed crafting greeting cards with her granddaughters and sending homemade Christmas cards to her long list of friends and relatives. She also looked forward to her weekly Bridge games with her 3 Bridge buddies. Sally is survived by her children, Eric J. Shoaff and wife Kathy of Carl Junction, Mo. Sally L. (Little Sal) Young and her husband Dale of the home, Susan L. (Susie) Thomas and husband Tom of Walters, OK, Jay S. Taylor and wife Susie of Broken Arrow, OK. Grandchildren, Keeli Looper and husband Pat, Stephanie Cooper and husband Chuck, Scott Vance and wife Marty, Shauna Stockstill and husband John, Sarah Thomas, Dustin Jones, Leah Huffman and husband Dave, David Taylor and Tommy Thomas. Great Grandchildren, Dylan, Micah and Lily Stockstill and Alex and Connor Looper. Whether known as Sarah, Sally, Mom, Nanaw or Lady, she was honored and loved by us all and had a special place in each of our hearts that will go on. The family asks that memorials be made to Crosspointe Community Church, 163 Bear Pen Creek Road, Laurel, Mississippi 39443.Survived By:
