Sarah Sue Hart's Obituary
Sue (Sarah) Hart, born on March 24, 1941, in Atoka, Oklahoma, to Leo Allen Sr. and Eula Agnes Allen, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her husband Carrel by her side.
Sarah met the love of her life, Carrel Hart, on a blind date, and they married soon after on July 1, 1960, at the South Woodward Church of Christ in Oklahoma City. Their union was blessed with a lifetime of love and companionship.
Throughout her life, Sarah held various jobs, but her true passion was working with children. She dedicated 16 years as a teacher’s aide, nurturing and educating young minds. Her devotion to her grandchildren was unparalleled, as she chose to leave her teaching career to care for them personally, ensuring they were always surrounded by her love and guidance.
Sarah found immense joy and comfort in reading and writing poetry. Her faith was a vital part of her life. She was a dedicated church member, faithfully attending services every Sunday and Wednesday. Sarah and Carrel also loved their Friday night card games with friends, a tradition that brought them great happiness for many years
Sarah is survived by her beloved husband, Carrel Hart; her son, Tony Hart; her daughter, Sherri Aary; her grandchildren, Scott, Steven, Josh, Jake, and Jonathan; and her great-grandchildren, John, Jackson, Jax, and Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Sarah’s legacy of love, faith, and dedication to family will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
