King, Scot Alan's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Scot Alan King
Scot Alan King, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on June 17, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on February 3, 1963, to Delbert J. and Elenor Kay (Talbott) King, Scot was a lifelong resident of Tulsa and a valued member of the community.
Scot spent many years building a meaningful career before retiring. In his personal life, he was known for his passion for music—an avid fan who collected anything and everything related to his favorite songs and artists. He had an extensive library of records and memorabilia and loved nothing more than sharing a great track with friends or family.
He was also an enthusiastic reader, always exploring new worlds through books. And when it came to family game nights, Scot was the reigning champion—his quick wit and quiet competitiveness often leading him to victory. His gentle humor, kind spirit, and thoughtful nature made him someone others naturally gravitated toward.
He is survived by his loving sister, Christie Finton; his nephew, Michael Finton; and Michael’s wife, Kayla—all of whom brought great joy and pride to Scot’s life. His memory will remain a cherished presence in their hearts and in the hearts of all who knew him.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date to honor and celebrate Scot’s life.
