Scott Widlund's Obituary
On the morning of September 27th, Scott William Widlund, passed away unexpectedly. Scott was husband to Amber, his wife of nearly 14 years, and a dedicated father, son, and friend.
Scott grew up in Skiatook, OK and settled in Broken Arrow, OK with his wife Amber and their two children.
In his free time, Scott enjoyed OU football, San Antonio Spurs basketball, and Atlanta Braves baseball. Scott also dedicated his time to serving as a Leader for Band of Brothers Men’s Ministry and Life.Church Switch Student Ministries.
Scott is survived by his wife, Amber, of 13 years, Daughter Makayla Poffenberger and Son Bryce Widlund of Broken Arrow, OK. Scott is also survived by Parents Ronald and Cheryl Shearer of Skiatook, OK, Sister Kelsey Widlund of Skiatook, OK, Brother Jarrod Shearer and Wife Cassie of Collinsville, OK, Sister Kristina Murphy and Husband Zack of Collinsville, Ok, Nieces Payton Shearer, Brooklyn Kelley, Andrea Murphy and Laykn Shearer. In addition to Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Scott preceded in death his grandparents Bert and Joan Widlund, CD and Mildred Stone, Ron Shearer Sr. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with.
A memorial service will be held in Scott's honor at 11 am on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Life Church Broken Arrow- 2420 E Kenosha St, Broken Arrow, OK 74014
