Shanira Lashaun Stone's Obituary
On January 2, 1980, a beautiful baby girl was born to the proud parents of Gary and Linda Stone in Tulsa, OK. She was the third born of 4 children from this union, and was named Shanira Lashaun Stone. Shanira attended John Bourogh Elementary School, Cleveland Jr. High School where she began running track fo the Tulsa Strive and was the best at winning. She went on to attend East Central High School where she played basketball and joined the ROTC with honors.
Shanira loved sports and her favorite teams were Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners. After highschool Shanira began her career in Nursing CAN then further her education in CMA which she worked for over 20 years, and enjoyed every minute taking care of the elderly and sick. This was her passion.
Shanira loved everybody especially her family and friends and most of all her daughter and grandbaby and her dog Smalls. On early June 22, 2024 on this Earth her job was done when The Master called and said “My child come home,” she left the earthly home and joined with her daughter Aziria Stone, grandparents OD and Melissa Clemons, Gloria and Cornell Stone, uncles Cornell Clemons Sr and Charles Clemons. Although she will be truly missed she shall be forever in our hearts.
Shanira leaves to cherish her memory and her legacy daughters Shametrionna and Marshay Stone, her only grandchild Meshiya Green, parents Gary Stone (Ann) and Linda Clemons, (Papa Frank,) siblings Marquita Lambkin (Dane) of Atlanta, Georgia, Tamara Stone, Shatarah Stone of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tyla Clemons and special thanks to her uncle Alvin Clemons; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
