Shantilal Harilal Shah's Obituary
Shantilal Shah, a devoted family man, lifelong learner, and deeply spiritual soul, passed away on April 11, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 93.
He was born on March 10, 1933, in India to his loving parents, Harilal and Kantaben Shah. From an early age, Shantilal displayed a curious mind and a natural talent for understanding how things worked. This curiosity grew into a lifelong passion for electronics. He loved working with his hands, often tinkering with televisions and radios, finding joy in both the challenge and the solution.
At the age of 65, Shantilal made a courageous decision to move to the United States, driven by his deep commitment to his family and his desire to help them build a better life. His selflessness and determination became a cornerstone of the life he built in his new home.A man of strong faith, Shantilal was deeply devoted to the Jain religion. His spirituality guided his actions, and he lived by principles of compassion, humility, and service. He was known for being incredibly helpful, always ready to lend a hand or offer thoughtful solutions to those in need.
Despite his age, he remained modern in his thinking, open-minded, and engaged with the world around him.Shantilal had a joyful spirit and a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to laugh, make others smile, and even enjoyed dancing, bringing lightness and happiness wherever he went.Above all, he was a devoted husband and caregiver. When his wife fell ill, Shantilal stood by her side with unwavering love and dedication, caring for her with strength, patience, and tenderness. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Shantilal is preceded in death by his wife Bhanumati Shah and parents.
Shantilal is survived by his Son Paresh Shah and Wife Kavita, Daughter Sangeeta Shah and Husband Rajesh, Son Kalpesh Shah and Wife Bina, Grandchildren Vidhi-Dhrumit, Jay-Shweta, Unnati- Anant, Siddhi, Rushabh- Harriddhi, Zeel-Keshank, Prit, Great-Grandchildren Vidhaan, Vidit, Jivaanshi, along with numerous siblings, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Loved ones.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 from 10-12 PM
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 17th, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Floral Haven Funeral Home - Rose Chapel
