Sharon Louise Bastel was born in Tulsa Oklahoma to the late Milton and Beulah (Tally) Bastel on October 26, 1950 and left this earth after a short illness on August 28, 2025.
Sharon was an avid reader and loved books. This love led her to her career choice of an Elementary school Librarian, teaching her students the love of reading too. She was also a lover of animals, having many dogs and cats during her lifetime, each one dearly loved.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and infant niece Jessica Moody. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Moody, Nephews, Jim and Jon Moody, niece Jennifer EchoHawk (Roland), 4 great-nephews, Keaton Moody, Graham, Harrison, and Ethan EchoHawk.
She is also survived by her dearest and best friend for over 40 plus years, Greg Reynolds.
Burial will be at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Sharon's family has requested no flowers be sent but to donate to your favorite charity in Sharon's name and honor.
