Sharon Ellen (Reed) Bell, 69, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away on November 15, 2017 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at St. John’s Medical Center.Memorial Service will be at 3:00pm Monday, November 20, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Arrow, OK. There will be a gathering at Floral Haven Family Center for family and friends at 12:30 pm Monday, with food and beverages for anyone to attend.Sharon Ellen (Reed) Bell was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 15th, 1948 to Spencer and Nancy Reed. She graduated from Central High School, Class of 1966, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married John Lyle Bell on May 26th, 1969 in Tacoma, Washington. She received a business degree from Tulsa Junior College. She used her degree in accounting at Shell Oil Company, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Once married, she then worked for TexaColor Labs in Wichita Falls, Texas. She enjoyed developing colored photos and had an eye for the perfect picture. She would process iconic photos and keep a few for her own collection. She worked and raised three beautiful girls, Roberta, Michelle, and Andrea. She was then blessed with 5 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She spent most of her time keeping her mind active and healthy by reading, playing trivia games, and scrabble. Most summers she spent with her grandchildren, where she planned lots of outings and fun activities. These summers included lots of field trips, board games, and lots of laughter and love. She always made sure that we made time for each other, whether it was family lunches, birthdays, or holidays. Her and John were always able to keep the children and grandchildren entertained and on their toes with their crazy shenanigans. Nevertheless, she always put others before herself.Sharon Ellen (Reed) Bell is preceded in death by parents, Spencer and Nancy Reed, sister Judy, brother Merle, and son John Allen.She is survived by her husband John of 48 years, children, Roberta and Art McKinney, Michelle and Brendan Bohannon, and Andrea and Brad Lewis. Siblings, Don Reed and Becky Reed. Grandchildren, Rachael Bohannon and Tom, Nicholas Winters and Caitlin, Brittany Winters, Courtney Bell-Lewis, and Alex McKinney. One great-grandchild, Maizie Klaire, who she shares the same birthday. She also leaves behind brother and sister-n-laws, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews from her large family.
