Sharon Lee Garrigus' Obituary
Sharon Lee Garrigus, 70, resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away August 26, 2021. Sharon was born November 14, 1950 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Dalton and Loretta Day. Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a force of nature and an angel to all who knew her. Sharon dedicated her career to teaching and was nominated Teacher of the Year at Tulsa Vo-Tech. When she wasn't working she enjoyed cooking, holidays spent with family, especially Christmas! Sharon always found comfort in her relationship with the Lord. The most important thing in her life was her family and she especially cherished her time spent with her grandchildren. Her family considered her the bravest warrior in the world! Those who knew Sharon will miss her dearly, but are rejoicing in healing!
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton and Dorene Day; sister, Sandra Mc Millan; nephew, Cody Mc Millan and nephew, Clint Mc Millan.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Terry Garrigus; daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Travis Hinesle; grandson, Brayden Hinesley; granddaughter and her husband, Gabby and Todd Catron; grandson, Caleb Hinesley; grandson, Garrett Hinesley great-granddaughter, Lilian Hinesley; great-granddaughter, Landri Catron; brother, Lantz Day; brother, Rick Day and numerous other family members and friends.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
